:hello:

How does one remove icons from desktop & pin them to the tool bar.
I searched for help in microsoft index & support, "but" these new software
seem to explain long winded answers, "and" I've still got know where, "but" frustrated!.
Where are the old ms windows like 3/11 when it showed great tutorials by demonstrating where to click on, all you had to do was follow the cursor and do the same, so simple and easy, no explaining how to get anywhere on the computer just follow the demo. wish that would all come back in the software
or someone please invent it, all these pages one has to search fore to get the answer or rather get to the point "TAXES THE BRAIN".
can someone help please

Thank you?

Solution
Right click on the taskbar at the botom of your screen. On the top of the menu that appears choose Toolbars, and click on Quick Launch if there is no checkmark next to it.
Yes! thats the one. I did not know that it was called a launch toolbar, they all look the same to me with these icons and buttons. You mention in your reply was it active. Do you mean that little "arrow" when the cursor sweeps over it, it comes alive and runs horizontally dragging other icons with it?.

😍 A million thanks,

I use to know all this and where to look for things in the old windows 3.11 but things have change what with upgrades and newer software. Quite frankly I hate it. I don't mind paying $$$$$ for these software if they were simple and easy to use. All the latest gadgets created these days are made for techs.

My country has recently experience and earth quack which has raised prices in hardware and software. please people, don't waste your money in those rip-off shop, "you can have my computer, software, printer, router and every other peripheral gadget I've got for free.

Once again thanks
