How exactly does a GPU work?

Hey guys, sup? Just wanted to tell you right here, this is not one of your generic questions.
So basically, i kinda wanted to know how a GPU functions, and a little bit about what are the various units and what they do (Like what is a ROP, it it physical or virtual, and how it works and what it does.) I know my way around computers, more or less, and figured i wanted to know a bit more. Keep in mind im in 10th grade, so i dont have a very advanced knowledge of physics and all. I know my way around electricity, and a little bit of chemistry. Decent, but not amazing, i can handle math, but not on a calculus level, basically anything under it is fine. The images you see on your monitor are made of tiny dots called pixels. At most common resolution settings, a screen displays over a million pixels, and the computer has to decide what to do with every one in order to create an image. To do this, it needs a translator -- something to take binary data from the CPU and turn it into a picture you can see. Unless a computer has graphics capability built into the motherboard, that translation takes place on the graphics card.

There are various different components and clocks on a GPU, there's the GPU clock which is normally measured in MHz, the Memory bandwidth, Gb/s, the stream processors (This makes quite a difference while in games), GFLOPS, (Giga Floating-point Operations per second) Basically how fast it can process things, (Add, Subtract Multiply and divide), Shader clock which usually deals with shadows and fume-FX simulations such as, fog, smoke etc.
I'm sure someone else will fill you in on the rest, its very complicated.

Magical blue smoke. Its how everything in a PC works, this can be proven by releasing it and seeing that things do not work once the smoke has escaped. There are goblins and pixies involved as well but they don't like being talked about.

GPU is graphics processing unit it process graphics which you see on your screen

like computer gpu has processor and ram...like you can find the core clock and amount of ram in gpu's specs ...
so its a complete COMPUTER in a from of card which is designed to perform the graphics processing
