So I want to buy a pc that is around the price of £900 ($1.2k) and I have built my own custom pc online and I would like some opinions on it, and just help in general!

That 8th gen i3 is a quad core just like that 7th gen i5 in the prebuilt. ~40 quid more would get you a 8th gen i5 that has 6 cores. The Corsair VS series is the worst series Corsair offers. The PSU is a critical component as it can literally ruin everything it powers if it has a problem and it's usually the first corner cut on prebuilts.

Give them less money and give more money to the actual parts for a better computer. I honestly didn’t even know the rx 470 is that much better than the 1050ti according to the shadow guy. Also keep in mind these are running on high-ultra, so if you run on med-high, you'll get stable 60 fps with vsync or 75-85 fps without vsync

SSD is a storage device like hard drive, but it doesn't use a spinning disk. Instead it uses silicon-based memory, like flash drives. Unlike flash drives, though, it's very fast, copying hundreds of MB per second, whereas a hard drive is only 50-60 MB/s. This results in much faster loading times for games and the operating system. So if a game takes 10 seconds to load with a hard drive, it will load in 2-3 seconds with an SSD. So what is it for? Same things as the hard drive, just much faster.

Yes, it will do it for every game and software that's installed on the SSD. That's why it's recommended to install windows on the SSD, because then, if before it took 20 seconds to turn on your computer, now it'll take 5.
