How i can know that my motherboard supports core i3 processor

Hello,my motherboard's model is - x31_ich7, & my processor is intel pentium dual CPU E2140 @ 1.60 GHz
. I want to know that can i Upgrade my processor from dual core to Intel® Core™ i3-2120 Processor
(3M Cache, 3.30 GHz).

My current HDD - 500 GB
My current RAM - 4 GB [DDR2]
 


Unfortunately for you..true.

Download and run cpu-z. It will identify the model#, revision#, bios levvel etc. of your motherboard.
At the motherboard web site, you should be able to find a list of supported cpu's.

 

So which motherboard i've to buy to enable core i3 processor. Pls explain it me in description including Price money....
