Any suggestions to make it cheaper?

Total is about $706 after rebates

Not much but is there a reason for the external dvd drive, you can get a cheaper one by going with an internal model. Also where did you do your shopping and did you try Newegg.

As said you don't need External DVD player do you? An internal is cheaper.
