The only time you see GDDR3 Vs. GDDR5 is on slower graphics cards, there's a reason faster graphics cards all have GDDR5 right now. The only time you need more memory on a graphics card is when you're doing hi resolution gaming, and since low end cards won't do hi resolution gaming very well, the best bet is the faster memory. So that's the solution, go for the GDDR 5 card.
