Question How long can I last with these PC spec?

I got

i7-4790
16 ram
480SSD + 500GB
GTX1660 6GB


How long should this last before I need to change my CPU and GPU. I’m kinda getting ready for GTA6 and other upcoming games is these are good?

Impossible to say considering nobody knows what hardware will be needed in the future, the settings you want to play at, and what you consider playable.

Could be years, could be next month.

Is the cpu good? And this GPU came out like 3 months ago. Should I add more ram or 16 is good for now?

The processor is getting old, its going to struggle with newer games at higher settings (most likely) as time goes on.
Its a midrange GPU, it will do decently well depending on settings and desired performance.
RAM is impossible to say, 16 is fine now, upgrade when you need it.

Buy your new games and see how you do.
Some will be cpu limited and some will be graphics limited.

Once you do not get the performance you want, then is the time to consider an upgrade.

I doubt that >16gb is going to me appropriate anytime soon.
