How long would this build last me?

Trying to build what basically a super computer for around $3,000. Tell me bros, how long do you think this would last me on 1080p gaming right now and eventually upgrading?

CPU-I7 4770K
MOBO-ASUS ROG maximus VII Formula
GPU- Nvidia GTA 980 SLI (2x)
Ram- 16 GB Corsair Dominator 4x4GB
Storage-2X 2TB western Digital hard drive
SSD- Samsung EVO 500GB
Raider Express PCIe SSD

1080p with only 2 980s in SLI? A week maybe? I'm sorry, I couldn't resist 😛

You will be happily overpowered for years to come! Perhaps by 2020 games will be too graphic intensive for that rig at 1080p?

I would say it can last for almost 3-4 years at least in terms of gaming just a bit of advice if you are playing on 1080p res you don't need to SLI 980 a single 980 is more than enough or even 970 would do the job and for the processor i7 4790k as there is not much of a difference performance wise between 4770k and 4790k but the cooling is much improved in 4790k Its your choice after all rest i would say its a solid build what about your PSU?

But you should get up to 5 years use of your PC before you feel there are better PCs out there. Not because something dies on you though.

Yup you can go either with the Evga G1 or G2 both are solid PSU and are more than enough for your build
