Question How many esxi host can be created in Dell T5500 workstation.

Hello Everyone,

I just brought a Dell T5500 workstation and need to learn Vmware and other products.

I found that it can not be used with VMware Esxi 6.7 latest update, But i am curious about how many esxi host can be create within my workstation.

Specs: Dual Xeon X6550 2.00 GHz, 2TB (4 x 500gb ), 36GB(4GB x 9 stick).

Any assistance would be appreciated.

If it is right, and i ll go for installation vmware esxi 6.5u2, vcenter6.7u3 and I have now just 10GB RAM.

How could I go far to install deploy other vRealize or vCloud suites ?

What does MAXIMUMS have to do with anything? It isn't like you have 256 cores to allocate. You don't have 12TB RAM so ignore the maximums.

And I answered that. Assume each VM needs 4GB RAM. So you can have no more than 8 (8 x 4 = 32GB).
