Hi,

My Build:

Fractal Design Define R5 ( default fans )
i7 4790k
212 cooler evo
16gb Kingston hyperx genesis
Maximus Hero VII motherboard
Evga Supernova g2
2x MSI GTX 670 OC edition

My issue is I'm just about to add that second 670 and I know I'm gonna need to cool it more. Question is how many fans and where ?

Solution
Wait, you have the R5 with the window? In that case (no pun intended) you can't put a side fan on there. Wherever you put the fan the sound is going to be pretty much the same, you just have to get the good quality ones.
Here is a list of empty spaces on your case right now.
Front: 1 - 120/140mm fan
Top: 3 - 120/140 mm fan
Bottom: 2 – 120/140 mm fan
Side: 1 – 120/140 mm fan

I would recommend putting at least 1 on the top and 1 on the bottom, maybe even side.

I think bottom is my best bet to get air onto the graphics cards instantly. Will the one be enough and won't effect my airflow or positive pressure ? Maybe one in the front too? Don't wanna put one in top as it makes it much louder apparently

Side would be the best, it's blowing only like 1-2 inches away from the GPU.

Yea, put one on the front.

No I don't have the windowed one - but there's a gap for a fan and i don't really wanna put it there cus I'll be taking away the dampened sound side from full potential. I fitted 2 today. One on bottom the other in the front both bringing in air to the case.. So now I have 3 bringing in air - 212 cooler and psu also there and 1 rear exhaust. Is that okay?

well not really. Id recommend getting one on the top. The side one would be good too Just make sure they are quality fans. They also aren't too loud. I built a comp for my cousin and it came with stock antec fans and it was very quiet, like a laptop. Just keep it at a low setting and it will do fine. I have a 80mm fan i got for 10 bucks and you cant hear it at all.
