how many hours should i keep my pc open?

the past few months i have my pc opened for several hours(6-7 nonstop)because i usually download movies and stuff like that.will this affect my computer in the future and if it is how many hours should i have to keep it opened...

my pc:
i5 4670
intel hd 4600(for now)
8gbs ram
500 gr hdd
mobo-assus h87m-e

Do not keep your pc open.
it affects the airflow in your case.
if you think that your pc is overheating then buy a new fan for it.

Do you mean opened as in the chassis is open and it is exposing your parts?
Or open as in on?

If the first, the it should be fine as long as you remember to clean it bi-monthy or more. And make sure that you don't spill a drink in it, or if you have a dog or cat make sure they are far away from it because hair can really fuck up a system.

As for on, I have mine running almost 10hrs a day, and I haven't had a problem. But more than that, PCs run for a long time. Even 24/7 (I dont recommend doing that) and as long as they remain below 80C then you should get no failures.

actually it is not overheating at all(25-30c)but i just leave it open while it is on only

actually both from what you are saying...and i dont thhink my pc goes over 35c when i leave him open and i know that because i leave 'real temp' open all the time

i dont kknow.i just leave it open because i have heard that it keeps the system cooler.is that true..?
