abhi_0007 :
can we create the logical partition after Z: drive????
if yes then what we will be the name of that drive
You can have up to a total of 128 primary partitions when using Windows 7. The partition must be NTFS with a MBR file format.
If you wish to name drives that exceed the alphabet, it is possible to use numbers - 1:, 2:, etc - as well as symbols - !:, $:, etc - but this may cause errors when using programs that only support letter based drives.
To safely name drives exceeding the alphabet, it'd be best to use
Volume Mount Points.
