How many re-writes can you write a bluray

yes i was wondering How many re-writes can you write a bluray. like say im gonna use it for storage of programs working together and i got to compleatly re-right the disk how many times can you re-write a rewritable?

tryin to see if i should get any or not

The advertised rewrite endurance is somewhere north of 1,000 passes, depending on the disk type. See: http://www.hughsnews.ca/faqs/authoritative-blu-ray-disc-bd-faq/13-disc-longevity-handling-storage-and-disposal#13.1

In practice you'll probably start to have problems due to handling damage (dust, scratches etc.) before you run out of media lifetime.
