that isnt including someone charging to spend the time putting it together to sell to someone.

So lets just start by saying that i didnt see anywhere that he said it was used. maybe i just missed it that will effect the price i agree. second i said start at that price everybody loves to think they are getting to weedle you down on the price but yes the value is lower since the components are used.
personally i think you would get a better value if you went with gtx 770 you can throw out there that its shield compatable. not a huge thing but it opens more doors than the HD which is still a good card in its own right you may want to get a 4gb i can run 3 monitors on mine with mostly maxed settings with just one 770 its the giga brand. i recommend windows 7 also, but i could see this going for $900 at a steal id start around $1.2k (this is only my guess and what i would probably pay for one) wish you luck on your sale

I just got your reply due to The Forum being broken right now...I might put the HD 6870 in it iand sell it as a Starter gaming PC...I have seen ads for Core 2 Quads as starter gaming PCs recently... I use Windows 8 pro and I really don't want to sell it with the PC for a few reasons, one being that I don't think your actually allowed to sell your Copy of Windows unless your an OEM PC shop..Not sure how that works......But I could get a copy of Win 7 Home premium for about $100 and then I guess $1000 maybe $950 as an ad...But I now I think just selling it piece by piece would be better...Who want to spend $1000 on a used PC from someone they don't even know...

That PC isn't likely to get that much anyway. I don't know where reapz got his figures, but I wouldn't pay $1200 for that system even if it was brand new. Get the current price of each component from PCPartPicker dot com and then take 50% off the price.

I'm selling a system with a 4770, 16GB of RAM, a GTX 780 GPU, a 256GB SSD, a 3TB HD, and a CD/DVD/Blu-Ray Writer, for $800 plus shipping. Yours will need to be less than that to sell.

Depending on where you live that Would be fine.. here a PC shop sells an i7 3770k build with a GTX 660 for $1500..http://www.brillcom.com/brilliance-ultimate-gamer-system/...in this part of Canada the Tax is pretty high on anything...even compared to most other provinces
