how much Power do I need

I know this probably gets asked a lot but I'd rather ask now than get stuck later.
I've tried using a bunch of PSU calculators and always get different results.
I'm building a PC consisting of:
ASUS Maximus VI Formula Motherboard
Intel Core i7 4770K
Corsair Dominator Platinum CMD16GX3M2A1866C9 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3
Corsair Hydro Series H100i CPU Cooler
Samsung 840 Pro Series 256GB SSD
Seagate Barracuda 2TB ST2000DM001
Corsair Air Series AF120 Quiet Edition Case Fan X2
ASUS BW-16D1HT-PRO 16x Blu Ray Burner
ASUS R9 290x DirectCU II OC 4GB

now on top of all of that I want to be able to upgrade later, add another HDD, maybe more RAM if needed (probably not but anyway)

the PSU I am currently looking at is theCorsair AX860i Platinum Power Supply, but I can also get the Corsair AX1200i Digital ATX Modular Power Supply if needed. would the 860 be enough, including the ability to upgrade?

In the other hand, going above 800Watts it's useless unless you're into SLI config. Your CPU will barely draw 100W:

And your GPU will be above the 300W on a load, and let's add another 50-120 on your other components. So you have plenty of space for further upgrades.

thanks heaps for that, unfortunately being from Australia I can't use Amazon and am pretty limited to parts from local distributers, but thanks, I doubt I will SLI so i'll stick with the 860

GS700 can be bought from Newegg if that makes it easier, but it's up to you. At least you know that your system pretty much draws around 600W.
