Yep guys, just need your opinion, I'm planning on getting the GTX 1070 and I will upgrade my i5 4460 to a USED i7-4790k for $250 to reduce the bottleneck and enjoy the 1070 but the problem is I forgot that ram is also being a problem since there are games that currently recommend 16gb (Batman ark.knight and quantum break) and yeah, this thing is stopping me to upgrade my processor. If im going to get a 16gb ram then I would not get 4790k and just get a new 6600k with ddr4 because ddr3 will not be used on the next upgrade (probably 2019-2020) and it also means that I will spend too much and for me it's not worth it.
do you guys think that I should push through on getting the 4790k and stick with 8gb ram?
or sell my processor+mobo+ram and buy the 6600k with 16gb ram?
P.S.
I want to get a used 4gb ram but I'm not sure if it's going to work because the used ram i'm planning to get has a different CL but same speed (1600)
