What I'm getting:
ASUS Z10PE-D8 WS
Dual Xeon e5-2683 v3 14 cores
I'm looking to get:
Kingston Technology 64GB RAM Kit (4x16GB) 2133MHz DDR4 ECC KVR21R15D4K4/64)
Will this be enough RAM to effectively use both CPUs? And, I am guessing each CPU uses it's own RAM, but does RAM get split up between each core?
with 64GB of RAM, that would be 32 GB per CPU which seems like more than enough. But, if it's split between cores, then that's only 2.2GB or 1.14 GB in Hyperthreaded cores.
My main software is Cinema 4d, Zbrush, 3D coat, and photoshop.
Any advice or links with info on how Dual CPUs with many cores uses RAM would be helpful. I am having trouble finding info (probably because I don't know the correct terminology to search for).
