Question How much should I buy a used GTX 1070?

I saw an ad for a Gigabyte Gaming G1 Gtx 1070 and the seller was willing to sell it to me for $300 Canadian dollars which is about $225 USD. The seller used the GPU for 1 year for only gaming so wondering if I should snatch this GPU?

I just very recently sold my strix 1070 for $230 US. I listed for $250, expected to take $200. And within an hour of listing, accepted an offer for $230. So I think for a good condition card, that's a fair price.

agreed, $225 is good.
In general, a used 1070 that is in good condition is worth $200 - $250.

And what brings value up is the variant, and the G1 has decent overclocking potential, and pretty good cooling design.

So for $300CAD cash, that's not too shabby.

however, try to haggle for a lower price if you can. say maybe $275CAD just to save yourself a buck.

But othwerwise, $300 CAD isn't bad at all.
The 1660Ti is currently selling for $350 CAD at the cheapest right now.

I think HWiNFO can tell you that. It has a portable version you can run without installing. You can find it here.

You can also use Speccy but I think that utility requires installation.

That is something that's can be found through search or maybe looked up in the manufacturer's documentation/manuals etc.

It sometimes might refer to the chipset revision if that's what you are looking for. Yes A2 usually means rev. 2.

The revision for the PCB (or the card in general) is usually printed out on the board somewhere. Motherboards and graphics card have them.

On graphics cards it's sometimes printed next to the PCIE contacts. The box that the card came it should have it on the label where it lists its model, serial number etc.
