Hey guys, i need your help! :)

How do i flash my BIOS on a MSI p35-neo2-FR? I am putting the system together tomorrow and i only assume that i have to flash the bios since im running with a E8400. So how do i do it?

I didn't find any help in the manual allthough i did download the latest BIOS for the motherboard and there was a file that said "How to flash the BIOS". Cool i thought! just what i need!

Well, no. Because i seriously do not understand what it says and the first "special note" in the start said the following (and it says it with big letters and a lot of !!!!):

WARNING!!!!!
DON'T FLASH FROM A FLOPPY DISK!!!! - Ok, i will not
DON'T FLASH WHEN YOUR SYSTEM IS RUNNING FINE!!!! - i will avoid trying to do that too
DON'T FLASH IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING!!!! - I don't. . . :)

So. I need your help.

How do i do it? (I can post the guide on how to flash the BIOS for the motherboard in here if it makes any sense to you).

Sincerly. :bounce:

I went for a q6600, as I do a lot of video work, running nicely at just under 3.6Ghz (8x449)

When you start overclocking Google for the best strap jumper settings, it makes a big difference on the performance

Strap jumper setting? I honestly never heard that before. Though i do intend to overclock my E8400, so you kind of made me worried there. Did i miss something? :)
