That's pretty much it.
I tried to find a users' manual for this Compaq Presario 5015 I got
2nd hand, but so far no luck.
I've figured out how to get into CMOS which is a bit of a trick in
itself.
But now that I'm in CMOS, I don't find any page that lets me set the
boot sequence. Everything I've read tells me there should be a BOOT
menu option to accomplish this. I've never seen a BIOS that DIDN'T
let you set the boot sequence unless it was the realy old ones that
were A: first by default...but this BIOS doesn't have a setting that I
can find.... I REALLY need to boot from a:.
Anyone have a clue how to make this thing boot to floppy?
Please post back to the list.
Thanks All!

Here's the BIOS help for your model:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?product=92945&lang=en&cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&docname=c00007683

Try resetting the BIOS to default (F5) after getting into the BIOS (F1 or
F10 at Compaq logo screen). You should have Boot Menu screen for selecting
order of boot devices.
