i have a laptop with a Ryzen 9 7945HX CPU and an RTX 4070 GPU.
In games it shows that the Physx engine used is cpu.
i have tried to change the settings in nvidia control panel as well but then it won't work. :)
i mainly play Valorant and no other game so any help would be appreciated.
I do have random laptop shutdowns as well, so i can provide logs if necessary.

Please help

Update your post to include full laptop specs and OS information.

What specific Nvidia Control Panel settings did you change or try to change?

Do you see any specific error codes in the logs that correspond with the random laptop shutdowns?

More information needed.

I am currently using windows 11 on an Asus ROG Strix Laptop with ryzen 9 7945hx and an RTX 4070 and 240hz monitor. Model Number : G713PI.
GPU Driver Info:
DirectX version: 12.0
GPU processor: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU
Driver version: 546.80
Maximum Graphics Power 140 W
Video BIOS version: 95.06.15.40.33
Device Id: 10DE 2860 25DD1043
Part Number: 3757 0010

So i changed the physx engine from "automatic" to my graphics card.

I also have an issue where my laptop keyboard stops working until i restart the laptop. It mostly happens when i open valorant but riot hasn't helped me with that issue yet. i have taken the laptop to the service center as well but they just reinstalled windows for me. And most of the time my laptop randomly shuts down is because of some IOMMU fault report causing the system to shutdown and ive had my graphic run out of memory in game causing the whole system to just refresh and close all apps that are running. I would appreciate any help I can get.

To start:

https://www.thewindowsclub.com/event-16-the-iommu-fault-reporting-has-been-initialized

Note the possible reasons for the error....

Look in Reliability History/Monitor and Event Viewer for additional error codes, warnings, and even related informational events.

Reliability History may reveal some pattern to the problem shutdowns.

Other error codes and more details may prove helpful.

What is the current memory configuration?

Disk drive(s): make, model, capacity, how full?

The only major error that i get is the laptop showing IOMMU fault errors. I have a 1TB SSD thats only 400gb used in it.

These are some of the logs that i got from my previous shutdown:
1)The iommu fault reporting has been initialized
2)The leap second configuration has been updated.
Reason: Leap second data initialized from registry during boot
Leap seconds enabled: true
3)The firmware reported boot metrics.
This is the first time im getting a new error:
Miniport Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter #2, {0efffa3f-f33a-47f7-b012-5dc7e7230c00}, had event Fatal error: The miniport has failed a power transition to operational power
