Get the Free utility CPU-Z - i can provide lots of good info - for your DRAM look in the memory tab it will give the true freq, if running at 1600 will show 800 since this is DDR (DOUBLE data rate)...if it shows 667 (1333) you will have to enable XMP in the BIOS if Intel and select profile 1, If AMD it may use XMP, DOCP or EOCP
