Hey all! Simple question- I have this motherboard (https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16813128699?Description=F2A55M-S1 ) which easily fits my case with space to spare for PSU and graphic card (GTX 1050ti) and some other accessory. As you can see, it is an old model (the MOBO not the case).

I wanted to upgrade my MOBO to this ====>

So simply put, what are the chances that the new motherboard will fit into my old case? Since the case wasn't bought by me (and is probably a cheap Chinese one) I have no way to ascertain whether the ports will line up or it will fit at all...

Solution
They are both MATX form factor. It will fit the case.
But your original is AMD and the new is Intel.
Which means you need a processor, your old processor will not work in the new motherboard .
