Hi,
I have a ASUS S400C connected to a Lenovo P27q-20 2k monitor via HDMI. The max resolution I am able to achieve is 1920 x 1200 because I think the laptop only supports an older version of HDMI. What do I have to do in order to get the monitor to achieve its max 2k resolution via my laptop? Note that my laptop only has a HDMI and VGA port.

Thanks!

Which is what you have experienced.

You can't get maximum resolution with the laptop you have.
