How to connect speakers with jack plugs

Hello,
I have two speakers which were given to me and each speaker has a single female jack plug in the rear of the speaker box. How do I hook it up to an AMP or receiver that is designed to take speaker wire only???

I am assuming your "single female jack plug" is a 1/4" TRS jack. So, install a TRS jack on one end of the speaker wire and you are good to go. Be sure you know which is the hot, and which the ground.
