how to crossfire

Hey there! I recently purchased my second sapphire radeon r9 270x and plan to crossfire it. Is there anything I can do before it arrives to make the process smoother? Also what exactly will I need to do during the actually setup process. thank you!

While nearly all 2+ PCIe boards are CF capable, not all of them are. (Or in the case of the older 965/P35 boards, suggested.) So is your motherboard and PSU up to CFing the 270X? If you are good to go it's just a matter of plugging in the new GPU and attaching the CF bridge. You shouldn't need a driver upgrade, but you probably will need a reboot.
