Hello,

Based off the motherboard, how do you determine what the max size of a hard drive to get?

You shouldnt need to worry about it. HDD capacity is more of an OS concern and any modern OS will leverage any current HDD size available.

What exactly is your concern?

that is what I thought. I had HP support tell me that my laptop can only take a 250gb hdd. I usually like to put higher size drives in.
