I have connected it to my desktop PC using Optical cable, is there anything more need to to get most out of it?
here are few queries I have:
  1. iam not getting the 5.1 option in spatial sound(output is selected to the sound bar) it just shows headphones there.(images attached)
  2. how to know that 5.1ch & Dolby Digital is working correctly?

Spatial sound's full name is Windows Sonic for Headphones and is designed to only work with headphones.

If you open the Windows Control Panel Sound app and select the Supported Formats tab you should be able to select the Dolby Digital format and when you press the Test button, you should here sound from each speaker.

The correct picture for the Supported Formats tab on the left did not come through. Please try again. The Advanced tab on the right only applies to non-encoded normal Non-Dolby sound and is for bit rate purposes only, e.g. if you're recording sound on your computer.

You can try downloading the Dolby Access app from the Microsoft store. Set it for Speakers not Headphones and try running the test sound tracks. See if it recognizes your sound bar as a Dolby device.
