Basically when i first made my PC, when i turn it on it would boot to lock screen and it would launch all the software such as steam etc without me having to login, however ive recently turned it off and i now have to login to my pc then eveything such as steam will start launching.

I cant seem to find a solution on the internet so came here hoping somone knows what its called and how to fix it.

All the information needed to login to steam etc is in your user profile, and it is not available until after log-in. Instead of logging off, why not just lock your PC, and let it sleep? That way when you wake it up, you won't have to login again, and all stuff will be already loaded.

I think you are referring to startup programs, If you are on windows 10 Go to task-manager and choose Startup and then enable steam there. If you want, you can also hibernate your PC
