I'm hoping to be able to connect three monitors to my Windows 7 machine I'd like monitors 1 and 2 to be an extended desktop and monitor 3 to mirror or clone either 1 or 2 so that someone (a client, coworker etc) can see the same thing I'm seeing from the other side of my desk.

Is this possible? Thanks for any help you can provide

You can do it, but you will need to pick up a splitter, and plug both the monitor you use, and the monitor that you want your customer to see, all into the splitter, and then the secondary monitor that is private just to you into the second video port on the computer. Then, to get an extended display, press the Windows button and "P", and select the Extend option. Video out splitters can be found here.

in a round about way it can be done... you will do 1 and 3 and clone 1 to 2. right click the desktop and go into screen resolution, in multiple displays set it to duplicate desktop on 1 and 2. your 3rd monitor will be extended off of monitor 1 then.
