How to find a usb port thats not working

Hello, I have a usb port that has malfunctioned and windows does not recognise it. Is there a diagnostic you can run or a procedure to find out which one it is.

thanx, now it tells me it is not recognized. When I investigate it more it tells me that it doesn't have a driver. How do I reinstall a driver when it tells me it is not recognized.

a USB port is not recognised.

Look in device manager for the usb not working and uninstall, when you reboot it will try to reinstall.
Or in device manager, click on the device and select properties and update driver.
