So I've been playing Death Stranding and my game keeps on crashing when I walk through tall grass at Windfall Farm. I receive the following error message:

I have already tried verifying the integrity of game files, updating my GPU drivers and launching as admin. I'd be grateful for any advice from you guys.

Do you have any friends Who can test the game for you? Just to see if it runs on another system because it might be a bug in the game.

You will have to figure out if this is your operating system at fault, faulty, hardware, or a bug in the game

I disabled Nvidia DLSS and the game stopped crashing lol. Leaving this post here in case anyone needs to see it

PCGamingWiki, a site on which I've often found fixes for game issues, had Steam and Subreddit forum links. The first link listed was Steam, and it's first fix pertains to this problem. The Steam link is particularly noteworthy because it's actually a list offered by the developers.

This is the fix for Access Violation problems:

"Certain third-party antivirus software, ransomware/malware monitoring apps, streaming software, and other system/performance tools can result in Access Violation crashes. Please try disabling these applications one-by-one to see if you can pinpoint which, if any, programs are causing the error."

This kind of thing is not all that uncommon with developers whom guard their content well against software that tries to access their content, even if for security vs nefarious reasons.

For future reference you should probably list your full system spec and OS when asking such questions, so we can be sure you are meeting the game's requirements, the lack of which can also cause such problems.
