How to fix copy & paste

My copy & paste tool no longer works. I can copy but no longer paste, I don't have a clue what happened or how to fix it. I know very little about computers, fixing them that is.

what os windows / mac are you using and is this in apps like internet explorer or fire fox windows / mac its self
