How to Fix CPU not recognized

i putted a athlon x2 5600+ on my mobo then i successfully got into windows but when i got to task manager it says uknown processor any solution for this?

The computer has not updated the drivers that allow to recognize the new CPU. That won't affect the performance of the computer.

Go to Device Manager, expand Processors, right click a "Unknown" processor entry and select 'Scan for hardware changes'

If that does not work then right click each "Unknown" processor entry and select Uninstall, then reboot.

Could you post your system components?

AM2 motherboard 2gb of ddr2 i will soon be upgrading to 8gb ram and a gt 1030

That won't help much...there are thousands AM2 motherboards. It will help to post models of components.
