Discussion How to fix keyboard that cannot long press instead type a lot of input and types 2 or 3 input when typing normally.

Hi. I am in dire need of your help.

I added a new ram and replaced my monitor, then after I opened my pc the keyboard starts working funny.
this is how it usually work without Filter keys: TTHIS ISS HHOW I NORMALLLYY TTYYPE WWITTHOUTT FILTTER KKEYYSS.

1st solution I tried is filter keys specifically bounce keys that works okay but I cannot long press keys and need to wait 0.5 secs to type the same key. This technically remove the possibility of playing any fps game which is frustrating and unacceptable.

I tried:

• reinstalling drivers
• keyboard settings (repeat delay/repeat rate)
• keyboard easy of access settings
• troubleshooting keyboard in windows settings
• tried other keyboards (still acting funny))
• tried the keyboard I'm using to other pc but it works fine
• tried regedit and cmd solutions in yt and websites
• tried removing the ram I added and get back to my old setup but its still the same

Try a clean boot and see if it changes anything - make sure to read instructions and make sure NOT to disable any microsoft services or windows won't load right - https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/help/929135/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows

if clean boot fixes it, it shows its likely a startup program. You should, over a number of startups. restart the programs you stopped to isolate the one that is to blame.
