How to fix special folders properties?

´My Music´ folder and ´My Images´ folder are not displaying the
correct task pane template and do not have the correct collumns in
detail view. I have tried fixing the desktop.ini file but it didn´t
work (according to Douglas´ tip):

Furthermore, ´My Programs´ folder and the root directory (C:\) are
displaying a music type task pane template with music related collumns
in detail view. I believe this is the cause of slow listing of it´s
contents since it uselessly tries to gather Author, CD Title, etc
fields.

This will result in the loss of saved folder views, but they are what is causing the problem in the first place.
