Question How to fix Windows 10 continuous BSOD loop?

Aug 25, 2019
Hello everyone,
Last weekend my computer froze while I was using it, and upon restart it displayed an “Inaccessible Boot Device” error. I spent the better part of the Sunday going through various forums and tutorials trying to fix it and nothing seemed to work. I came back to it today and discovered it still displays the inaccessible boot device error, but now when it restarts it goes into a new error screen displaying error code 0xc0000001. If I try to restart or start in safe mode from this new error screen, it brings me back to the inaccessible boot device screen. Even trying to boot from my windows 10 disk will sometimes result in the same cycle. I feel I’ve exhausted every idea I can find or think of and would appreciate any input you may have.

First: Update your post to include full system hardware specs.

Second: Read more about the error code.

Check other websites as well but read only. Do not download any software making claims that it will fix the problem.

Third: Look in Reliability History and Event Viewer for other error codes and warnings that correspond with the computer freeze ups.

Fourth: Run Windows 10's built-in troubleshooters. The troubleshooters may find and fix something.

Fifth: Run "sfc /scannow" via the command prompt. That may likewise find and fix some issue.

Sixth: Open the case and check that all cables, cards, RAM, etc. are all fully and firmly in place.
