How to format a macantosh Hard drive in PC environment

My son have a mac corrupted hard drive, I had a sata hd enclosure. my pc cannot recognized thehard drive. How can I format it?

You want to format it for use on a PC or for use on a Mac? For the latter you must do it on a Mac.
