Question How to get 144hz with DisplayPort on graphics card

Hello guys.
How do i reach 144hz with DisplayPort on the graphics card and DVI/VGA/HDMI/DisplayPort on the monitor?
Could i just buy this cable?

Yes its a
AOC 24" LED FreeSynC G2460PF

I see if your monitor and GPU have DisplayPort a DisplayPort cable should work fine.

Will my monitor and Geforce GTX 1660 handle it? Because i played 144hz with my old 760 over DVI.
