I just built a computer for my brother, and for some reason, when I installed both my HDD and SSD, only the HDD showed up in UEFI and Disk manager, while my SSD has not been detected by any of these. Is there a reason why and is there a way I can fix this?

Solution
In many motherboard designs, certain m.2 and SATA ports cannot be occupied at the same time. That's because they share lanes.

Consult your motherboard manual. I had a quick look, but I couldn't find one.
