I have heard that MemTest86 Tends to go on forever sometimes so I'm wondering how I would get out of, Would it give me a prompt or button, Or could i just turn off the PC during the test

Thanks

Hey, Thanks For The Reply, I just downloaded Memtest86 and there are 5 files, two of them are .txt files and the other three are ImageUSB, Help and Memtest86USb.Img

I have looked in the readme's but I'm pretty confused about how to Get Memtest86 on the drive properly, I use USB

Those 'img' files are to build a bootable USB stick.
If you read the 'readme.txt' and 'ReadMe_imageUSB.txt' inside that zipfile, it will tell you how to get it onto a USB stick.
You then boot from that USB and run the test.

Hey USAFRet, I got Memtest on the USB, however there seems to be an issue, The USB Is 8GB and After copying the image to the USB, The USB Went from 8GB to 49MB, What happened

Yes, probably. Does it boot from that USB?

I haven't actually ran Memtest yet, I get kind of worried when tweaking BIOS Settings, Will I be able to reclaim my Lost Capacity by deleting Memtest86, This seems to be a very common issue, I used the default settings and only changed what it said to

Yes. The creation of that memtest boot device sucked up the entire drive.
See if it boots and runs properly.

After you're done with it, delete all partitions on that USB and format as needed. Recovering the full 8GB.

Ok, Thanks, I'll be back with results in a bit

I have the USB Formatted and plugged in but in the BIOS, It gives me three USB options for the USB,
Lexar USB FlashDrive
UEFI: (FAT) LEXAR USB Flashdrive
UEFI: (FAT) Lexar USB Flashdrive

The FAT one shows up twice for some reason, Which one do I click
Lexar is the USB Company BTW

Hey USAFRet, I ended up just htting the first one and it worked out fine. I got no errors in MemTest86 although only one of my CPU Cores was active even though it detected all 4 cores. Is This Any Good,

EDIT: It said 1 CPU Active not Core
EDIT 2: How would I go about reformatting my USB

Plug the drive in.
Open Disk Management
In the bottom portion, there is one line per physical drive.
Be very very sure you know what drive you are looking at.
Right click on a partition, select Delete.

I don't see an option for one line per physical drive

Show us a screencap of your Disk Management window.

I don't get the option to delete Volume?
All i get on the first block is open, explore, formal and change letter
on the second block I get no option. Could it be because I still have Memtest on the drive

"All i get on the first block is open, explore, formal and change letter"

Assuming you mean Format, do that.

Which options do I select in Format. Should I leave file system as fat and allocation size as default

NTFS

Didn't work, Just formatted the 49MB Block of data, The rest is still unusable
