Way bad recommendation. As for Windows, there are "sites" that I'm not suggesting you purchase from that others say the key works fine or keep an eye on places like Humble, Groupon (who actually currently has it for $14) etc..
You do realize Toms Hardware promoted Groupon themselves in the article about obtaining a Windows license right?Way bad recommendation.
This is not much different than recommending a used GPU on fleabay.
Buy a real license, and never have to worry about it again.
Oh yes, I know. You do realize Toms Hardware endorsed Groupon themselves in the article about obtaining a Windows license right?
Yeah, I no longer chat him for advice. I do my own research now and ask help from people online. And furthermore, don't listen to your cousin or even let him get close to your PC!
I have my windows installed in my Sata SSD if that's what you're asking. I have my HDD as my other storage, but I almost have all my files there; like games, videos, and pictures. What drive is the OS installed on now?

I have my windows (which is crack) installed in my SATA SSD, and I was thinking about getting a m.2 nvme and have the windows installed there for faster boot time.Im operating half awake so I already don't remember the whole thread.
Unless Windows is on a HDD (mechanical spinning platter) drive, a SSD will be fine as stated above.
However, NVMe drives can be had for so cheap, I'd save the hassle and just do it now.

Alright, I'll follow your advice. But if I clone my SSD to my new M.2 NVME, will I still be able to use my SSD as another storage?Right.
As above, I'd consider a valid Win 10 license.
Get the NVMe later. Done right, cloning is easy.
Yes.Alright, I'll follow your advice. But if I clone my SSD to my new M.2 NVME, will I still be able to use my SSD as another storage?
I only have it saved in my HDD which is my other storage. I only have two storage which is my SSD (Windos drive) and my HDD.Regarding "but I almost have all my files there; like games, videos, and pictures."
And verified backups of all that saved somewhere else as well - correct?
Alright. I'll get a 512GB M.2 NVME. I'll go the pc store later and tell them the services I'll need. Thanks for the help.Yes.
After the clone operation, you wipe that drive completely.
But lets not get ahead of ourselves.
One step at a time.
Btw, what sites do you recommend that I should buy a windows key? I'm tired of getting scammed lol.Yes.

It is a part of your PC, just like GPU/RAM/CPU. Don't try to cheap out.
