My system:
Nvidia GTX 1050ti OC 4gb
Intel Core I5 7500 3.4 GHz
12 GB RAM 2133 mhz - dual channel 8+4
I know my pc is a budget build. But I've been able to get at least 60 fps in all of my games, even GTA V at almost max settings, with some settings turned down to high instead of very high and i get about 60-80fps.I also realise that gta v is from 2014 and very well optimized.
I just got the humble monthly for april and started playing mafia 3 and deus ex mankind divided. I've heard that they require a lot of "power" to run them at 60 fps but I can't even increase the performance by lowering the settings. I've even turned down the settings to low(as low as the game allows) but i can't get a significant increase in fps. WIth the settings turned up to high, the way i play it, mafia 3 runs at 30-40 fps and in some areas even above 40 fps, it never drops under 29-28 fps, that's seems to be the minimum. And I'm happy i'm not having any kind of stuttering problems. But that 30 fps is always in the back of my mind and i'd like to do something to increase it. would overclocking my gpu just a bit work? and would it be safe ? are there any other solutions? my gpu is factory overclocked already by 100mhz over the standard 1050 ti.
I'm obviously worried about the future and how my pc will hold up. I thought i could squeeze by with this 1050ti at least until 2019.
