Question How to know the BIOS Version ?

Hi! I recently purchased a MSI MAG B760 MORTAR WIFI II DDR5 motherboard, but i don't know the BIOS version of the motherboard nor it's on the motherboard.

How to know the BIOS version without turning it on?
Also, does the motherboard support the Intel 14th gen CPU out of the box ?

Most likely it has initial BIOS version 7E13v10.
Check cpu support list for your specific cpu model, if it requires update from initial BIOS version.

Thanks for the reply my processor requires the bios 7E13v11 for 14th gen, how can i update my bios if there's no Q-Flash option ?
The retailer whom i bought this motherboard from says it will work out of the box.
HELP

With any other cpu, that does not require BIOS update.

Anyway - you might be able to boot into BIOS even with cpu, that requires BIOS update.
7E13v11 update fixes some specific windows BSOD.

Try and see.
It should be possible to boot into BIOS with i5-14600K/KF.

To see if the motherboard can support the CPU out of the box, check its BIOS update history. If it mentions adding support for those CPUs, then it's likely not compatible out of the box, even if you bought it well after the CPU's release. Some motherboards do however allow BIOS updates without a CPU, but you'd have to check to make sure your specific model supports this and what those requirements are.

I don't think a system with an incompatible CPU will boot even into the BIOS settings menu. Pretty much every CPU boots up in a minimal state and requires configuration to get it out of it. If the BIOS (or whatever boot firmware) doesn't know how to configure that CPU, then it's best to play it safe and abort the boot process.
