Question How to migrate windows 11 to new RAID 0 array?

So I have two 500gb ssds, one with my OS installed and one empty one. The ssd with my os is almost full and I want to install my empty one and set it up in raid 0. My mobo(MSI b450 gaming plus) supports raid and I was thinking of cloning my current windows 11 install onto an old backup drive I have, setting up raid 0 in my bios and then cloning my os onto the new raid array. However my google-fu has failed me in my time of need and I havent been able to find any recentish posts anywhere about migrating windows 11 to raid. Also is using the bios raid better than storage spaces, and would it be simpler to migrate if I use storage spaces? I am also aware of the risk of data loss using raid 0, and regularly backup my system, so no worries.....well very small insignificant worries as far as I am concerned.

  1. A RAID 0 with SSDs is totally useless.
  2. RAID 0 was never meant for the OS drive.
  3. You can't import/clone/recover a Non-RAID setup into a RAID 0 array.
  4. Striped Storage Spaces is not any better.

Just move some data from your current 500GB drive to the other one. Its just a different drive letter.
