How to obtain component serial numbers?

I am planning to sell few pre-built computer systems but I need a way to track what components are used inside the computer so if a customer changes something, the warranty goes void for that component.

What is the best way to do it and can anyone suggest me a good software to ease it all?

Most components have the serial on a label somewhere
Gfx cards and Mobo's certainly do
list the parts used in a build with S.No's in a file and have a 'sold new build rigs' folder, this keeps them separate from your refurb sales

Thanks a lot for the tip! Do the components save their serial number on firmware/somewhere else so I could look them up inside Bios or OS?

Possibly but not that I know of though sorry,
I'm old-fashioned and just hunt for a label lol
