How to OC i5 750 to 3.4 ?

I was wondering if i followed this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iy8D7bbxHXg which gets overclocked to 4 ghz but instead of having the BCLK at 200 I changed it to 170 would that achieve a 3.4 ghz overclock ? if not what would I have to change in order to have a stable 3.4 ?

Each overclock is unique due to the variability in the individual components. Just because someone might achieve something with exactly the same components that you have doesn't guarantee that you will achieve that mark. Having said this, a goal of 3.4MHz is probably very realizable if you have the proper cooling solution (read, aftermarket).

Yes, changing the baseclock to 170 will result in a CPU speed of 3.4MHz. This will downclock all the other components as well.

So if i tried to change everything except baseclock it would be stable I could leave all the other stuff that's shown in the video ? (sorry I'm a newb first PC ive had)

Okay, to approach the OC try to see what you get without increasing any voltages. You can first just try to see if you can plug 170 in as the baseclock and see if it will boot.
