Hi, my problem is when I play WOT I must turn vsync on because I get screen tearing, but that limits fps to 60( I have 60hz monitor). Since I have GTX1060 I can easily go above 60fps but then I get screen tearing without vsync on. So is there any other way to eliminate screen tearing without vsync?

Solution
I guess the short answer is, not really.

A g-sync monitor is going to be pretty pricey, but then you could get something like 120hz/144hz/180hz/240hz along with it, and solve the problem in both ways.

If you are sure you can do something like 144 FPS at 1080p you could get a cheaper free-sync or non-sync monitor and just use V-sync at the higher refresh.
The best way to avoid screen tearing without vsync on is to buy a Gsync monitor. That is the exact purpose they were created for. If going out and buying a new monitor doesn't sound great to you, you can give Nvidia Fast Sync a try. I've never used it myself but it is supposed to eliminate tearing while avoiding some of the downsides of standard vsync.

Buying a new monitor isnt really an option for me because I bought this monitor about a year ago, actually my brother was in some way forcing me to buy it because he envy me in some way and in that time I didnt knew much about monitors its Asus VX248H. Also I tried with fast sync but it gives me micro sttutering but its noticeable and it really isnt pleasing for eyes
