Question How to push 144hz onto an external monitor through a MacBook Pro

I recently purchased the latest MacBook Pro 16" 2020 model which has a 60hz display. I have an external monitor that runs at 144hz and I wanted to connect the MacBook to it and be able to get 144hz. What is the way to go about it and what is the hardware required to get the same? Currently, I am only able to run it at 60hz on the monitor using the type C hub linked below.

60Hz is your threshold, that's what the support list in the specs page for your laptop says.

But I am talking about an external monitor. I have seen people do this on the older version of Macbooks
