How to put a webcam over a video?

Hey guys,

So basically I recorded me playing some games and I have those recordings on my computer. At the same time I recorded using a webcam my face.

So I have the two videos (the game video and the webcam video) in my documents and I would like to put the webcam video in the top right hand corner of the game video. How would I merge them together and do this?

I have windows movie maker (XD) and can only download free software as I don't want to have to pay for any software.

I recommend OBS (Open Broadcaster Software). its 100% free, just create a scene, and add the monitorcapture on your video, and add the webcam file. record it, boom. done.

Isn't OBS for streaming not for vidoes which can be put on youtube?

Also as I said in the original post, I have the videos on my computer, im not recording them on my PC.

Obs can save local copy.

I would just use an avisynth script using Layer() for this and feed that to x264/ffmpeg.
